Wildness is a way of thinking. Wilderness is a place.
"There is nothing -- absolutely nothing -- half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats. In or out of 'em, it doesn't matter. Nothing seems really to matter, that's the charm of it. Whether you get away, or whether you don't; whether you arrive at your destination or whether you reach somewhere else, or whether you never get anywhere at all, you're always busy, and you never do anything in particular, and when you've done it there's always something else to do, and you can do it if you like, but you'd much better not." ~ Kenneth Grahame's "Wind in the Willows"
An unhappy, miserable child is unable to learn.
We empty their "I can't" backpack and fill it with "I can".
Give the wild or miserable child time out from the source of their misery.
It may be their home environment. - - - It may be their school environment.
Whatever the cause, Aerie Wildness College can create change for them to enable them to get on with learning for a good future.
YES. The "Wild Child" is likely to find happiness and success with us.
They will come back to you if you let them bring their I can with them to show you.
Be proud and show it.
A NEW START
Wildness is a way of thinking that builds happiness.
There is plenty of time to let them explore and enjoy their youth.
Time in the wilderness helps.
Some need "time out" from their painful places, the typical SACE school room cage, or the disruptive friendship group causing the problem.
The best solution is to get them out.
Join Aerie Collegiate Community. We only admits safe people.
We like the "wild ones". They have great potential.
Aerie collegiate community helps distressed, brilliant, or different youth, aged 15 -24 who are likely to find their best future outside the normal school cages and family home.
We recognize that some youth are off track in their late teens for many reasons and it is a difficult time for busy parents to hold them. The wild teens want to break away from parental rules, school discipline, bad friendships or other problems.
A happy, positive, teams building adventurous way forward is attractive to youth and will relieve the older teen family conflict.
Guided adventures are safe.
Then share holidays for family fun times. This will hold the family together during the terrible teen years.
In our modern world there is much loneliness and subsequent depression.
Research, and now practical programs that bring youth and aged together is demonstrating a solution to this rapidly developing community problem.
Send your wild youth to the full-time Aerie Residential Transition skills College as a safe supportive place for the beak away while they are still dependent on you.
It will break the conflicts.
The Aerie Transition program focuses on wilderness wellness and happiness, both essential to open their brilliance to see a new flight path forward to a safe future.
