Usually, at about age 16 the fledglings want to leave the nest and find adventure. The Aerie College Practical Skills learning programs, directed more at the rural, tourism, and care services lifestyles, offer a challenging but protected landing ground for young adult family members who are itching to find their wings. Let them feel their oats in the very safe Aerie College community team learning environment.
River houseboat holidays are great for remote families. Families buy a houseboat, enjoy the River holidays and leave the older teens living on the boat while at Aerie college SACE or VET. When parents are not with the boat, the family boat and students stay with the College fleet under the College Fleet Master's supervision to complete their studies with the other houseboats teams. Families can rent other berths on the boat to Aerie Students to complete a boat team to help reduce costs.
University study with city living is now more dangerous and less rewarding than it was in the past when academic work had priority. Many university graduates now find it difficult to find employment. VET Training is the faster flight path to employment. Extra training and education can come later when they can better see their future flight path.
Practical people with caring skills are now more in demand. These skills are more rewarding. They are just as difficult to achieve, and not always taught well in traditional academic high schools teaching towards a University future. Many young people are unable to enjoy academic study and suffer high levels of stress.
With the houseboat moored with the College fleet during term time for the students living, perhaps with their friends or siblings under the supervision of the Academy Boat Master, may be an answer for your growing family. Parents take charge during family holiday times. Houseboat holidays have been a favourite for many years. ACA Collegiate resort community offers both family holidays and student residence supervision while at college.
We fly with eagles. We will protect and help your eaglets fly with us. Yes, they will probably fall in sometimes. We will pull them out, and launch them again. They will all quickly learn water rescue skills. Skilled Eagles catch their fish without getting wet.
