The rostered Task Book time is arranged with the ship's officers by ACA. There is a fee associated with this hosting service, to be negotiated with the ACA Principal. The final sign-off on the task book is provided by the ship's captain and the supervising training provider.

This involves shipboard housekeeping and catering functions as all-around skills building.
There is an expectation that Seatimers will work on rosters associated with a wide range of tasks onboard the ship to provide experience in the operation of ships.
All experiences of time onboard will be detailed in the ACA Seatimer's Log in addition to the required Task Book, and signed by the Principal and Ship's Master on competition of seatime.
It is a condition of ACA student enrolment that they participate in as many possible tasks onboard the ship. All students will maintain a personal electronic Journal record of their time onboard the ship.
