Aerie club could buy the fleet for environmental Education

This form of Loan Licence to Occupy investment agreement is used to capitalize assets for charitable Communities (eg university colleges for student accommodation or charity-owned retirement village units.)

It is only available to Registered Charities by private arrangement within the membership of the charity. There is no limit to the number of loan units a person, group, or school can own. Each Loan unit can be resold to other members when no longer needed. Loans can be recovered immediately from the Aerie club investment if needed in an emergency.

• ANCOM member's Loan Licence to Occupy investment in $100 units.
• All units can be resold within community membership or paid back by the community in an emergency.
• There is no limit to the number of investment units a member can hold.
• Each unit has an occupancy use value each year (eg An occupy capital value for a 24-hour place on one of the paddle boats would be 0.5, this means each of these places has a capital value of $50 or a seat rental value of $5.00 at a 10% return. These values are calculated from the capital value of the asset. This will be displayed on the occupancy value schedule when we secure the asset.)
• These Units can be used once each year by members, or rented to others through College administration, of any of the ANCOM Community assets according to their use ignition value.
• The first unit purchased includes the Community Membership Fee.
• All units are returned to their original value and there is an annual maintenance levy charged on the anniversary of their purchase.

Many small investments from many community members can purchase the Fleet. Join and invest. 

As an ongoing interest in the investment, one LLtO $100 license would allow the owner to use or rent one place on any of the fleet boats for two days each year. 

The license can be resold to other community members for at least full value to recover the capital investment when no longer needed. 

There is no limit to the number of place asset licenses one can purchase.

Incidental consumables fees will apply to each use.

Ownership carries RECURRENT COSTS. These can be paid from the profit generated from Group use and public cruising. 

Day passenger river boats like these three from an older era, are very difficult to sell in this very limited, land-locked restricted market. 

They are no longer commercially viable. Day trip tourism has died.

The River Houseboat Hire industry has taken over the river cruise market.

The ANCOM community is in a unique BUY position and has a modern viable use.

Based on discussions with Boat sales experts across Australia, we have a firm view of a fair total current value offer for the three boats for this unique education and training facility.

This will be discussed at fundraising meetings to be arranged.

NOTE: All the other old DAY TRIP paddle boats on the Murray are community-owned and volunteer operated. A few Overnight Passenger Boats still work the over 50's market looking after oldies, unable to work the hire houseboats.

We have been requested by the sales agent to not indicate what the Collegiate Community would be prepared to offer at this stage.

With the current flood situation, it is not likely that a sale will be made soon.
